Which grade levels do you tutor?
I tutor students learning high school math and up.
Which subjects do you tutor?
The subjects that I tutor are restricted to the departments of mathematics, physics, engineering, and actuarial science.
I can tutor almost all high school and introductory college classes in those departments, and some more advanced classes.
Do you tutor for standardized tests?
Yes, though my sessions would primarily focus on the mathematical content of the exams, as opposed to test-taking strategies or tricks.
For standardized exams that covers one year of material (such as the AP exam in calculus AB) there is rarely a divide between my expectations and my students’ expectations.
For standardized exams that cover multiple years of material (such as the SAT or the GRE) we’d need to take some time during our introductory session to agree on shared realistic expectations for the structure of our sessions.
